Challenge #1 Build Simple Twitter Clone

I really want to spend time learning new technologies such as GraphQL, service workers, PWA, React, etc, but never got any chance to really dig into.

Challenge myself would be the best way to do this. Set goals and learn by doing.

Goals

• API (REST or GraphQL)
• Mobile Web (Offline First)

Obviously, this won’t be hackathon style where everything done in 48 hours. Writing weekly progress would be nice idea to hold myself accountable, other than that let’s see how it goes.

Why Twitter?

At its basic core, Twitter should be simple enough to be implemented. And no, I’m not talking about the scalable version of Twitter with billions of traffic.

When thinking about Progressive Web App, Twitter is the first thing come up as a use case to learn about that technology.

Timeline

Honestly, I don’t know. I’ll be working on this mostly on my weekend and/or free time after working.
